We're located at 1556 Laskin Road #132, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 — about 2.5 miles from the beach and resort district. Easy to find, with plenty of room to escape your routine.
What are your hours of operation?
We're open Tuesday–Wednesday 10 AM–5 PM, Thursday–Friday 10 AM–7 PM, and Saturday 9 AM–5 PM. We're closed Sunday and Monday.
What services does Escape Blowdry Bar and Salon offer?
We offer a full range of services including custom color, hair extensions, precision haircuts and styling, luxury hair treatments, and nail care — all under one roof. It's a true hybrid: a full-service salon and blowdry bar combined.
Do you offer hair extensions?
Yes — extensions are one of our core specialties. We offer multiple methods tailored to your hair type and goals, and an in-person consultation is required before booking to ensure the right fit, custom color match, and a personalized maintenance plan.
What color services do you provide?
We offer two signature color experiences: the Lux Color Package for fully customized, premium color — think dimensional blonding, rich brunettes, and seamless gray blending — and Signature Color for modern, expressive looks. Every formula is tailored to your hair goals and lifestyle.
Do you offer nail services?
Yes, we offer customized manicures and pedicures using Voesh products with individualized scent selections. Every service uses single-use sanitary packets for a fully hygienic experience — and we don't offer acrylics or use harsh fumes.
What makes Escape different from other salons in Virginia Beach?
Escape is the only Kerastase-exclusive & Keune Ambassador salon in all of Virginia Beach and one of the most diverse salons in the 757, serving all hair types and textures. We combine a full-service salon with a blowdry bar, and our team brings 20–30+ years of industry experience to every appointment.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book directly through our website. For extension services, an in-person consultation is required before scheduling your appointment to ensure the best possible outcome.
Is a consultation required before getting extensions?
Yes, an in-person consultation is required for all extension services. This ensures we select the right method, match your color precisely, set realistic expectations, and build a personalized maintenance plan — all before any work begins.
What professional product brands do you carry?
We exclusively carry Kerastase, Kevin Murphy, and Shu Uemura — all available for retail purchase. Escape is the only Kerastase-exclusive salon in Virginia Beach, so you'll find the full range here.
Who are the stylists at Escape?
Our team includes Yolanda (Owner & Master Stylist), Nakita (Master Stylist & Cosmetology Instructor), and a talented group of stylists — Cierra, Ary, Cassidy, Aspen, and Felichia. Ary also serves as our Nail Technician, alongside Erla, and Maria leads our client experience.
When was Escape Blowdry Bar and Salon established?
Escape was founded in 2017 by Yolanda Wright, who set out to create a luxurious yet welcoming space where guests could receive premium beauty services from start to finish. We've been serving Virginia Beach ever since.
